An Unforgettable Engagement Session: Bougie, Unhinged, and Full of Love
When Alexis and Florin reached out to plan their engagement session, they had a vision that was nothing short of extraordinary. They described it as bougie, unhinged, and devil-may-care, and I was all in to make their dream photoshoot a reality. Little did we know that our adventure at the Jupiter Hotel in Portland would turn out to be a day filled with surprises, laughter, and genuine connection.
The journey began with extensive research to find the perfect location that would not only accommodate our unique vision but also provide the elegant backdrop we were looking for. After searching high and low for Portland hotels that would allow us to capture the magic inside their walls, we finally settled on the Jupiter Hotel.
The Jupiter Hotel opened its doors to us, granting access to two different rooms for an hour and even the bar at their partner establishment. It was the ideal setting for what promised to be a memorable engagement session.
The day of the session, as I met Alexis and Florin in the lobby bar, I immediately sensed that we were in for something special. Their personalities matched their bougie, unhinged vibe perfectly, and we clicked from the moment we introduced ourselves. It was as if we were old friends reconnecting after years apart.
To kick off the session, we started in one part of the hotel, capturing intimate moments and playful interactions that perfectly reflected the couple's unique chemistry. The elegant décor and stylish ambiance of the hotel added an extra layer of sophistication to the photos.
As our hour flew by, we moved to a second room, continuing to create magic against the backdrop of chic and trendy settings. The laughter flowed freely, and the genuine love between Alexis and Florin shone through every frame.
To add a touch of excitement to our session, we decided to head to the bar. However, instead of alcohol, we opted for sparkling apple cider due to Portland's strict no open container law. It turned out to be a delightful choice, as the sparkling cider brought a sense of celebration and joy to the occasion.
As the session continued, we ventured outside to capture some street vibes. The contrast between the cityscape and the elegance of the hotel made for some truly stunning photos. The urban backdrop added a sense of adventure and spontaneity to the collection.
Before we concluded our engagement session, we couldn't help but reflect on the day's surprises. Alexis and Florin had discovered that they were expecting just a couple of days before the session, adding an unexpected but joyful twist to our adventure-we stuck to juice and water but continued on with your overall theme.
