A Little More About Me...
Photography runs in the blood. My great grandfather was an Ariel photographer in the war-he passed that love down to his son who documented everything all the time. You literally couldn't see him without a camera or videocamera. Enter scene: my mom, who above all else-knew that whatever we did growing up-it mattered enough to capture and print. One of my favorite parts of my childhood was getting to go through the insane amount of photos my mom took with a disposable camera and then a digital camera that she printed and placed in an album. Getting to watch my life, my growth, my beginning through photos is unlike any other feeling. I'm transported back to that moment, and I get to see all the little details that I lost along the way.
And then there's me. Always carrying a camera as soon as I could afford one-taking classes in high school, earning a studio art minor with a discipline in photography along with my psychology major. My boyfriend (now-husband) was my first set of portraits outside of my courses before I realized how much I loved working and connecting with people. I took his senior portraits and it just set the tone for what I wanted-mind you this jerk was flipping off the camera the whole time BUT I was living for it the whole time anyways. It was like a lightbulb moment but really it was like hitting me with a frying pan. Ever since he's been supporting me to push my boundaries-find myself behind the camera-and to get out there and follow my dream.
I've been working as a professional photographer since 2017 when I turned this passion into a business and it has been such a learning experience. If done right, I think it should always be a learning experience. I'm overall so thankful and grateful for the candid and raw couples and families I've gotten to work with and I am so stoked to be able to work with you and be there for you. Whatever you need, I am your girl!
