An Old Bisbee Engagement Adventure
As an Oregon-based intimate adventure elopement and backyard wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing love stories in some of the most picturesque settings.
Recently, I embarked on a journey to Arizona, where I had the incredible opportunity to meet a delightful couple in the charming town of Bisbee for their engagement session. What ensued was a magical day of laughter, exploration, and timeless moments.
The day began with excitement and anticipation as I traveled down to Bisbee, Arizona. The picturesque town of Bisbee, nestled among the rugged hills of southern Arizona, promised a unique backdrop for this engagement session. I swear I almost had to park my car on the way in to get a huge landscape photograph of the place because I had never seen anything like it. I was eager to meet the couple and start capturing their love story after traveling in.
Our adventure began with a leisurely stroll through downtown Bisbee. The couple's infectious laughter filled the air as we meandered through the historic streets, passing by quaint taverns and art galleries. It was such a special little town and it definitely fit this coupled adorable vibes.
Bisbee's downtown exuded character and charm, with colorful buildings and a vibrant atmosphere. As a photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more photogenic setting. Each corner we turned seemed to offer a new and enchanting backdrop for our photos.
But the true gem of the day was our visit to Lowell, a nearby area that felt like a step back in time. Lowell transported us to an old-time town with vintage cars parked along the streets and storefronts that seemed frozen in the past. It was a photographer's dream come true, and the couple's excitement matched mine as we explored this unique location. To put the icing on the cake; it was EMPTY. Yup you read it right-completely empty! Now that WAS a dream.
As the day wore on, we headed back over to Bisbee until sunset. The fading light bathed the town in a warm, golden glow, creating a romantic ambiance that was perfect for an engagement session. We captured breathtaking moments as the couple shared sweet, intimate glances under the setting sun.
After the sun had dipped below the horizon, we continued to explore Bisbee. The town came alive with the sounds of music emanating from different shops and the enchanting performances of street musicians. Twinkle lights hung overhead, casting a magical spell over the streets.
Throughout the evening, I had the privilege of witnessing the couple's love and connection deepen. They danced under the twinkling lights, stole tender kisses, and shared moments that were filled with emotion and authenticity.
As I snapped away, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my role as a photographer, capturing these precious moments that would become lasting memories for the couple. Their engagement session in Bisbee was not just about taking photographs; it was about telling their unique love story against the backdrop of a charming town filled with history and romance.
